Crimp Style Fitting System
Fittings are a two-piece design. Fitting insert (stem) and crimp ferrule (collar) are radially compression crimped. Fitting stem and ferrule are positively locked together during crimping. This method of attachment enables the hose assembly to be used to the maximum working pressure of the particular hose style and size. Hose pressure ratings are based on a minimum 4:1 safety ratio-burst to operating pressure.

Fittings Are 360° Rotary Crimped to the Hose
Fittings are locked to the fluoropolymer liner with fitting stem grooves. Crimp ferrule compresses reinforcing braid or rubber cover and tube on to the hose barb assuring a tight liquid/gas seal. Ferrule and stem are positively locked together with a dog-lock groove. Hose assemblies will exceed hose pressure rating without fitting pull-off or blow-off.
