Biomedical/Pharmaceutical grade platinum-cured silicone tubing, manufactured with Dow Coming Silastic® 50 Shore A material, provides superior flow properties, is ideal for use in transfer operations as well as other applications requiring nonleachable material, and is able to operate at elevated temperatures while resisting sticking or encrustations. It is sterilizable with autoclave or ethylene oxide as well as by gamma radiation within the user's validated cycles and exposure levels.
